About
An operator-led advisory firm
Medaya Partners was built to bring industrial operating experience into decisions that are usually made with incomplete technical evidence.
Position
The firm works at the point where research becomes industry: where a result that holds in the lab must hold in a reactor, a production line, a permit application and a capital plan. That transition is where most deeptech value is created or lost.
Our practice is deliberately narrow. We do not broker transactions, place capital or take equity in the ventures we assess. We provide structured, evidence-based readiness work to investors, founders and boards, and we say what we find.
The work is delivered by operators with direct experience of R&D organizations, scale-up programmes and industrial safety environments — not from a template applied to an unfamiliar domain.
Principles
Evidence over narrative
A claim without reproducible evidence is treated as an open question, regardless of how well it is presented.
Stage honesty
Ventures are assessed against what their stage requires, not against an idealised end state.
Independence
No success fees, no placement mandates, no equity in assessed companies.
Discretion
Client names, materials and findings remain confidential unless explicitly released.
Usable output
Every deliverable is written to be acted upon by a board or an investment committee.
Declining well
Where we are not the right firm for a mandate, we say so at intake.
Request a Confidential Readiness Review
Structured qualification before any conversation. Each submission is reviewed against decision risk, stage and sector fit.
